Alex is intrigued by the fire he see's in Ruth and cannot let go of thoughts about her. When he realizes how he feels,

I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to leave an honest review. - Not surprisingly, this is an excellent book. I've been with the Kansas Crossroads series from the beginning. I heartily recommend the whole series. I love the story of Ruth and Alex.
One thing that stood out to me is the continuing theme of Adam Brody's protectiveness of his staff, and his insistence that the waitresses learn to shoot and always carry a gun. You might find something about that in this book. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Amelia spins a wonderful story, even when there is violence and not-so-nice people. - Another awesome book by this author in her Kansas Crossroads series.
I really loved this one as it emotional, has some ups and downs and awesome characters.
There is also some cattle rustling and rancher, ranch hands and a lawyer go off to find the rustlers and one gets shot. Adventure and suitors, one wanted and one not.
There is so much going on and of course most in the Brody Hotel and all the good food that comes from the kitchen and the guest and towns people alike love eating there.
This is one of my favorites out of this series that I have read.
I highly encourage readers to get this book. Ms. Adams is one author everyone seems to love and I can see why. Get this book and all the stories in this series. - I have bee waiting for Ruth's story. She has seen all of her friends at the hotel find love and get married. She feels maybe she should take a job offer in the city.
Enter in Alex Barker, brother of Ruth's former boss. He is entranced by Ruth from the start, but she blows him off because of his brother.
After a few adventures will Alex be able to prove he is not like his brother and win her love? Or will she decide to move on from Topeka? - I have been looking forward to Ruth’s story! It’s a wonderful well written entertaining story! Well done Amelia Adams! I do enjoy your stories!

- Your storytelling and characters brought together several difficult circumstances that ended in the best possible conclusion. Ruth was a very special lady with great traits and abilities. Alex found out items about himself and brother that made him question certain things. But they both found each other and LOVE and Home. Especially enjoyed this book and its conclusion.
- Alex- realator/broker- came to sell Lazy Q to Wade and help his brother buy a new ranch.

I enjoyed reading this captivating and touching story that is fantastically written with charismatic characters and dialogue. Though this story has a happy ending but doesn't feel quite complete it needs an epilogue.
